Have you ever wondered how close you are to something amazing?
John Chapman was an average man with an average life. One Monday morning, like many of us, he decided to ignore his alarm. The monotony of the working week could wait for a few minutes longer.
A door was creaking open. The unusual series of events that were about to follow would turn his life upside-down. At first he began to doubt his memory, then it was his sanity. How can an event witnessed by so many people just disappear from their memory as though it never happened and why was John now the only one who could remember it?
There is a world out there waiting for you. Maybe just one small change will open doors you never
thought possible.
Next time you reach for the snooze button listen for the
creak.

I couldn't put it down. Very intriguing story. I look forward to reading the next
book. It is well written.

When reality isn’t what it seems to be… * * * * *
Very good fast paced book. I usually don’t go for short stories but I’m glad I
did. John’s day didn’t start too good and it’s not getting any better. Good
characters and story line. Once you start reading you’ll be pulled into this
book. Can’t wait to read part 2 and see what other books C.A. Smith has
wrote.

What a totally awesome short story. I liked the characters and the plot
was original.
Thumbs up to the author on his second book series. The Nephilim
Tree being the first.

I truly enjoyed this book. OK, I'm a sucker for time/dimensional travel books. The
characters were well developed and I felt empathy for the problems that
developed. I also liked that it was by a truly English Author; a bus is a
lorry; they drink lots of tea, and eat beans on toast. So if you want an
entertaining/enjoyable read I would recommend reading this to you. Its also a
quick read and its only 2 books (and they're both available)
Many thanks to these reviewers. I will add any reviews I get as they arrive (good or bad.)
